Rainier Gonzalez
Born into a family of artists in the Philippines, Rainier grew up immersed in the world of fine art, managing the family art gallery and learning the craft under his father, Rick Gonzalez. However, he pursued a bachelor's degree in finance and rose through the ranks of multiple financial institutions, including Bank of America and Globalbank. After 30 years in banking, he and his family immigrated to the U.S., becoming the financial director of an art studio and managing several art galleries in Hawaii.
It wasn't until 2016, after moving to Florida with his brother and mentor, artist Rodel Gonzalez (famous for Disney, Star Wars and Marvel fine art fame), that Rainier was encouraged to pick up the brush and paint again. While his passion is painting horses, he enjoys painting the vibrant colors of sunrise and sunset skies and capturing the
tranquility of the Florida coast. Drawing inspiration from the quiet poetry of everyday life, Rainier captures fleeting moments with precision and emotion. He brings not only technical mastery but also depth and soul, shaped by decades of creative experience and a family legacy rooted in the arts.
His work balances tradition and individuality - grounded in realism, yet undeniably personal. Whether through dynamic compositions or the careful interplay of light and texture, his paintings speak with clarity and grace, A proud husband and father, he continues to explore new artistic horizons driven by a lifelong passion for discipline and beauty.
